Mabuzi Design Labs: Colour Guide

Vinyl colours

The colours that you can apply to your artwork through the Mabuzi Design Labs are representations of the vinyl heat transfer media we often use to print your artwork. The swatches that you select from are not precise, and in the case of specialty colours, they do not illustrate the finish or effect of the media to which it corresponds. For that reason, please find below a list of our standard vinyl colours sorted alphabetically by name, their Pantone Matching System colour code (often used for precise colour matching of corporate colours) and the CMYK compositional breakdown or, alternatively, a small image of the media itself in the case of specialty vinyls. Our range of specialty vinyls do not have Pantone Matching System values or CMYK values, as their unique finish and effect cannot be achieved through those means. Please note that the metallic vinyls are quite shiny and reflective once pressed onto the garment. Please ensure that this is the effect that you would like before placing your order, as we cannot be held responsible for incorrect colour choices.

Please note that screen gamuts (the range of colours that can be displayed by a monitor or screen) vary to print gamuts. For example, it is impossible to represent fluoro orange accurately on a computer monitor. If you require a precise colour match, do not attempt to compare printed material to the above swatches.
