Thursday, March 31st Christchurch Earthquake Appeal

The great team at the Nags Head Hotel in Glebe raised over $30 000 for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.

Robbie Deans will be at The Nag’s Head Hotel in Glebe to raise funds for aid to the victims of the recent earthquake in Christchurch. In conjunction with The Red Cross Earthquake Appeal all funds will go towards rebuilding lives and infrastructure in Christchurch.

The function will be held in The Stables Bistro and has a maximum of 80 tickets to be sold. This will make it an extremely intimate event and a great opportunity to gain an insight into Australian rugby with Robbie Deans, who hails from the Canterbury region affected by the disaster. Robbie will be giving a speech before opening the floor to questions from those gathered. After the lunch, Robbie will be hanging around to talk with those present in the bar for a couple of hours.

The auction prizes are awesome. The Nags Head Hotel have merchandise from Australian super rugby franchises, signed jerseys from The Canterbury Crusaders, two free tickets and a meeting with Greg Somerville kindly donated by The Melbourne rebels for their games against the Waratahs in Sydney and a Wallabies staff experience.
